  DNS Resolver

DNS Resolver checking

You can check the status of the Resolving NameServers by entering the IP addresses (IPv4 only) in the box below. You can find these Resolving NameServers in the /etc/resolv.conf file on Linux based OS's
The DNS Resolver checking does NOT check that Zones can be transferred or looked up, it just checks that the server is responding to the DNS port (typically #53)

You can paste the whole file in if you like, we can remove the other entries.
We can translate NameServer names into IP addresses (IPv4) also if they are on a line by themselves.

Source code for this DNS Resolving NameServer Checker is available in a NON CGI format at http://scripts.akakul.co.uk/
